1. Program Participation
By participating in GlobTalk’s Refer & Earn Program, you agree to share your unique referral code or link with friends or contacts (“Referred Users”) only with their prior consent, and you acknowledge that GlobTalk is not liable for any misuse of your referral code or unsolicited invitations sent by you outside our platform.
2. Referral Process
To qualify for rewards, the Referred User must (i) download the GlobTalk app from the official App Store or Google Play Store, (ii) register for a new account using your referral code or by selecting your profile from their contacts (if they’ve synced their address book), and (iii) complete a qualifying action (e.g., making their first call or adding payment method), during which we collect the Referred User’s IP address, device ID, and verification details to prevent fraud or duplicate accounts.
3. Reward Eligibility
Once the Referred User satisfies the program requirements, both you and the Referred User will receive the advertised reward (e.g., call credits or account upgrades) within 48 hours, provided neither account exhibits suspicious activity (such as self-referrals, bulk fake accounts, or device/IP address manipulation) as determined by GlobTalk’s fraud detection systems, and all rewards are subject to expiration 90 days after issuance unless otherwise stated.
4. Data Collection and Use
For the Refer & Earn Program, GlobTalk processes:
From Referrers: Your contact list (if you grant permission to sync contacts), referral code usage history, and reward redemption records.
From Referred Users: Account registration details, first transaction timestamp, and device/IP data to validate referrals.
This data is used solely to administer the program, calculate rewards, and combat fraud, and it is retained for 24 months after your last program activity unless longer retention is required by tax laws (e.g., for rewards exceeding $600/year in the U.S.).
5. Privacy and Controls
You may revoke contact list access anytime via your device permissions or GlobTalk’s Settings > Privacy menu, and referred friends will not see your personal information (e.g., phone number) unless you directly communicate it to them outside the app, while GlobTalk never shares your contact list with third parties except for fraud prevention vendors bound by confidentiality agreements.
6. Limitations
The program is void where prohibited, and gGlobTalk reserves the right to (i) cap rewards at 20 successful referrals per user per calendar month, (ii) disqualify accounts engaged in abusive behavior, and (iii) modify or terminate the program with 30 days’ notice via email or in-app alerts, with accrued rewards honored for 60 days post-termination.
